Terms of Service

By creating an account or using ScribePace in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and ScribePace.

ScribePace is a web-based SaaS platform that provides AI-assisted scriptwriting tools, client collaboration features, hook analysis, teleprompter delivery, and performance analytics for short-form video content creators and agencies. The Service is accessed via app.scribepace.com and is provided on a subscription basis.

To use ScribePace you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate, complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access at support@scribepace.com

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. ScribePace is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your credentials.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Paddle, our authorized payment processor and merchant of record. All prices are in USD.

• By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
• You may cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
• All taxes and VAT are handled by Paddle as the merchant of record.

The free plan provides limited access to ScribePace, including up to 3 scripts, the dual-column editor, live pacing tracker, tone analysis, and version history. AI generation, client workspaces, the Hook Simulator, platform resizing, and PDF export are restricted to paid plans. We reserve the right to modify free plan limits at any time with reasonable notice.

You agree not to use ScribePace to:

• Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or fraudulent
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the platform or its AI outputs at scale
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

Your content is yours. You retain full ownership of all scripts, workspaces, and other content you create using ScribePace. We claim no rights over your content.

You grant ScribePace a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your content solely as necessary to provide the Service.

ScribePace, its logo, design, and underlying technology are the exclusive property of ScribePace and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without written permission.

Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described therein.

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose
• The Service will meet your specific requirements

You are responsible for reviewing and editing all AI-generated content before use.

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time:

• You may delete your account from Settings at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or non-payment.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your content will be retained for 30 days after which it may be permanently deleted. We are not liable for any loss of data following termination.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ScribePace and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to ScribePace in the 3 months immediately preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must cancel your subscription before the effective date.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Casablanca, Morocco. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
